 We
can truly give praise and honor to GOD the father for the things
he has done for Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church. TO GOD
BE THE GLORY for where HE has brought us from, what HE is doing
for us right now in the present and by faith where HE will lead
and guide us in ministry and mission in the future.
Our church motto is “Building Bridges of Fellowship Through the
Word Of God” (Acts 2:42-47). This is our goal and desire as we
move further into ministry in the 21st century and beyond. We
all have much work to do and we must do it while it is day for
night cometh when no man can work. We are grateful for that
which we were allowed to do thus far, but we are not complacent
and/or satisfied because there is still more work to do for the
kingdom of GOD until Christ returns. People have needs and
ministry meets those needs and we provide ministries that meet
the needs of our current congregation and those who are yet to
become a part of our church family.

A sincere welcome is extended to our guests. Our hope is that
you received spiritual encouragement, instruction and
inspiration while visiting. If there is any way that we can help

WE BELIEVE
We believe the Bible is God's inspired word and has supreme
authority in all matters of our lives. God sent His Son, Jesus
Christ, to this earth to settle man's dilemma of sin. As
sinners, we are an imperfect people but claim God's promises of
forgiveness of sin and new life in Jesus Christ by receiving Him
as personal Savior. "For by grace are ye saved through faith,
and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works,
lest any man should boast." Eph.2:8-9
Our purpose is to unite for worship, Bible training, spiritual
growth and reaching the unsaved with the good news that Jesus
Christ died for them. Should this be your purpose, we invite you
to consider Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church for your
church home. We will happily furnish information about how to
become a Christian, our statement of faith, or church
